<trackbot> Date: 16 December 2014
<clown> agenda: this
<scribe> scribe: Rich
ACTION-1254: (Joseph) Consume/cancel keydown event when keypress is
consumed/cancelled.
<clown> action-1254
<trackbot> action-1254 -- Joseph Scheuhammer to Work with
WebApps working group to ensure that DOM spec states when a
keydown event is consumed/cancelled that the corresponding
keypress event is also cancelled. -- due 2014-12-09 -- OPEN

[10] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1254
JS: There is a section in the keyboard mapping section that
states when a keyboard down even is cancelled that the keypress
is also cancelled.
... We do have tests they all passed. FF:Windows, FF:Linux,
Safari:OSX
Rich: just give Cynthia the url to test
JS: I can
... Webapps guy I spoke to said yes this is spot on.
... This matches what the webapps working group is doing for
DOM3
CS: you can close the action item
RS: +1
RESOLUTION: Close action 1254
ACTION-1542: (Joseph/Joanie) Verify the commit for mozilla bug
1013584 and report the atk role to joseph.
<clown> action-1542?
<trackbot> action-1542 -- Joanmarie Diggs to Verify the commit
for mozilla bug 1013584 and report the atk role to joseph. --
due 2014-12-02 -- OPEN

[11] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1542
JS: this has to do with tables and lists that are marked with
role=“presentation” and what FF is doing
... Joanie wanted them to be mapped to divs
RS: Why so many ways
JS: that is Joanie’s question
CS: list items are a kind of paragraph
JS: table cells become role “textframe"
... Joanie instigated from the Gnome point of view and
ATK/ATSPI
<clown> action-1445?
<trackbot> action-1445 -- Joseph Scheuhammer to Investigate the
ideal uai mapping for role presentation in tables and lists. --
due 2014-12-16 -- OPEN

[12] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1445
CS: I will look at the use of a “paragraph” role for
presentational list items as part of the inheritence defect I
am lookin at. (Issue 1445)
... there is a paragraph thingy that is part of the textPattern
RS: So, that list becomes one or more text patterns
JS: Can I send this back to you to flesh this out?
CS: yes but not until after the first of the year
... January 20 meeting
ACTION-1372: (Cynthia) Create a test case, if there is none, to test
the rowgroup role.
<clown> action-1372?
<trackbot> action-1372 -- Cynthia Shelly to Create a test case,
if there is none, to test the rowgroup role -- due 2014-11-15

[13] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1372
CS: There are a lot of test cases that are related
... The firs one in the list of test cases asks if it is
invalid if it is not part of a grid but IE passes it
JS: There is just this element with row “rowgroup” on it
CS: Is this a good enough test case?
JS: This is test case 56
... it passes in IE back in March 2012
... I have a fail for FF ATK/ATSPI September 2012
RS: rowgroup used to be mapped to none in FF
<clown>

_id=1&testcase_id=56
[14] https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/testharness/testresults?testsuite_id=1&testcase_id=56
JS: This failed in IE.
RS: What does the current document say?

<trackbot> Created ACTION-1546 - Make sure the rowgroup mapping
for msaa/ia2 is accurate [on David Bolter - due 2014-12-23].
JS: rowgroup specifies one or more structured elements in a
grid or treegrid by implication
... The test case does not do that
RS: It is a feature
<scribe> ACTION: Rich update test test cases involving rowgroup
to ensure they are included within a grid container and to
ensure that the expected result matches the new mappings
