Cool. But why not moving the items directly by using Ctrl + Arrow Down/Up instead of explicitly entering Drag Mode using Ctrl-M? This seems a little bit too awkwardly for simple reordering.

Here is a new drag and drop example using JQuery for better cross browser support for the illustrating the drag and drop function and then it also include keyboard support and ARIA for drag and drop using the DHTML style guide keyboard shortcuts.
