More anecdotal evidence, supporting Wills information. When we've tried our customers with synthetic output, where they have been used to human speech, the reaction has been mixed. An interpretation of the negative responses has been that of any human, i.e. dislike of change. Its so different that the immediate reaction is negative. I guess its hard to get past this, no matter how good the synth. A related question is, we can give you material X in synth form next week, in human voice in 6 months time, which is not far from the truth. That produces some interesting responses. regards DaveP. -- DISCLAIMER: NOTICE: The information contained in this email and any attachments is confidential and may be privileged.
