W3C Pronunciation Lexicon Requirements available for review

The W3C Voice [Browser] Working Group announces a revised 
Pronunciation Lexicon Requirements document which has been upgraded 
to align with VoiceXML and other languages in the W3C Speech 
Application Framework.  The Pronunciation Lexicon Specification (PLS) 
will be used to describe the pronunciation of words for both speech 
recognition and speech synthesis systems.
