The following image was sent to the WAI-IG mailing list as an attachment, without either a succinct or detailed description. The poster simply asked if the image violated WCAG checkpoint 7.1, a Priority 1 checkpoint, which asks authors to avoid causing the screen to flicker until user agents are able to suppress such behavior. Since this is the graphic that launched two threads--one thread on the WAI-IG list and another thread on the GL list--I began to wonder: what the hell does the damn thing look like? So, I prepared a simple 2 field form, in the hopes that you can provide me with both a short (less than 50 characters) "textual equivalent" for the image, as well as a longer description of the image, which can be as long or as brief as you deem necessary.
