Accessibility issue: Flyout menu examples on W3.org

Hi, all. I was under the impression that all “popped up” content must be dismissible without the user moving the mouse pointer or focus to another element. Arguably the most common was to do this would be to dismiss with the escape key. However I was surprised that none of the examples of W3 flyout menus<https://www.w3.org/WAI/tutorials/menus/flyout/> used the escape key at all. Is this something that we should consider adding?

Thanks for your time.
