Very good point! > If we don’t want Saturday/Sunday because people who didn’t get to it on Friday should not have a bad feeling working on weekends, then end the survey Monday noon Central or something. That gives editors the opportunity to start processing results on Monday and see if new ones come in. I disagree with that. I’m assuming that Saturday and Sunday are not counted as workdays, and the survey could actually close on Friday following EOWG process. In that case, moving the closing date to Monday Noon Central, which is 7pm Europe, would blow an entire day for most current editors. Note that processing results while others come in is tedious and inefficient for me. Typically comments will relate to each other (especially on GitHub when people chime in on other people’s comments), so a cut off date becomes essential. Also, it seems that critical comments often come during the last few hours, or even beyond, no matter how long the survey is open for. At least I have a lot of difficulty working with processing comments as they come in. > Just 2 cents, totally not feeling strong about it. Well, except for extending the duration, I’m fine with closing on Friday and leaving things lying around until Monday... Happy to close the survey on Friday instead but these two days are then wasted. I would personally prefer to keep it open through Sunday since the comments are not needed till Monday.
