I find it troubling that a video player on a WAI site is inaccessible to screen reader users. Using IE 11 and JAWS 17, I attempted to access the Video Introduction to Web Accessibility and W3C Standards <https://www.w3.org/WAI/videos/standards-and-benefits.html> media. I encountered the following issues. Incorrect use of headings Video Introduction to Web Accessibility and W3C Standards — <h1> Media player — <h3> Inaccessible media player video player region 0:00Speed: 1x Video play region end How can one hope to convince others that Web accessibility is the right thing to do when the page with the video is representative of not doing the right thing. *Philip M Kragnes, M.S.* Manager | Computer Accommodations Program <http://cap.umn.edu/> University of Minnesota | Disability Resource Center <http://diversity.umn.edu/disability> pmk@umn.edu | O: 612-626-0365 | M: 612-578-7263 Learn more about creating accessible digital materials by visiting these sites.
