RE: Icons for the the SCs

I agree this would be a good idea. I was running some Section 508 Coordinators through using the Tutorials and the How to Meet in an exercise last week, and they too felt it was a bit of text overload – which icons might help break up

I was teaching WCAG yesterday and was demonstrating the new Quickref. One student said

 

"I find all that text really dense, what about introducing an icon next to each SC in addition to the handle?" 
(which is the tagline on the SC number - 1.1.1 Text Alternatives)

 

I thought its an interesting idea that would require inventing or choosing icons for each SC. An interesting thought that might help people with Cognitive Disabilities.
