Dear Eric, As agreed at the Nov 11 F2F <https://www.w3.org/2016/11/15-eo-minutes.html#item02>, we are archiving the Mobile Overlap document as we move toward streamlining content. We agreed to remove it from the the main navigation and transfer some of the important points to the Mobile Overview document. Can you do that this week before you turn into a pumpkin? We want to re-affirm the fact that WCAG is the mobile guideline. There are far too many where we discuss 'shared barriers' and "overlap' that makes it sound like they are different. It references We want people to take away the fact that the WCAG standard applies to all web experiences, mobile or not. It makes it seen it is too different. We want to be sure that people understand that mobile standards are WCAG so we don't need to point out "similarities" becasue they are actually not two different things. Here is our plan: 1. Archive and remove from left nav and add "obsolete" or whatever that archival language is to these two docs: - https://www.w3.org/WAI/mobile/overlap - https://www.w3.org/WAI/mobile/experiences 2. Remove from the left nav the link to https://www.w3.org/TR/mwbp-wcag/ from navigation (we will link to it from the Overview page) 3. We will work and send an updated Overview page in the next few days. In the meantime, we just want to get rid of all the old updated stuff.
