Fwd[2]: WCAG application menu bug report

if you click the menubar expandable item by mouse, you will need then to press DOWN arrow key twice for passing focus to the submenu
aria-expanded="false" — this is not being announced in case of a live focus because SPACEBAR doesn't perform an action: only down arrow key, so that the focus goes to the bottom and screanreader just loses / passes focus.
would you like to try my version of this widget?

that's not fair! You the specification says no to aria-expanded to be applied on the menuitem, whereas you use it!
that's just not fair.

Good day Sirs!
i found a   bug   here: https:// www.w3.org/WAI/tutorials/menus/examples/appmenu/
the   bug    is:
if you  click  the expandable    menubar   >    menu   >    menuitem    physically by mouse, then    LEFT   /    RIGHT   arrow keys navigation  terminates...
The    UX   is alright, i can propose something much better!
