Hi,
It seems the Policies Relating to Web Accessibility page is very out of
date. Is anyone tasked with maintaining the information? I can help with
some of the countries that I follow, but I know there are new regulations
in the works for several countries, as well as the update of standards used
in many countries to use WCAG 2.0 that I don't have all of the information
for. Perhaps there could be a newsletter call for help from participants in
other countries to gather the info to update that page.
In addition, I think there should be a section describing the UNCRPD as a
prime mover for countries to adopt standards and policies regarding the
promotion of developing accessibility standards worldwide - including in
the web space. One of the prime targets of UNCRPD is for ratifying
countries to ensure access to information and technology to people with
disabilities.
Who should I work with to help out?
Best regards,
