There are some good alternatives suggested in the attached article that could be used on the BAD site For example, one could be ". . . detection services Akismet, Mollom and SBlam! all analyze user-submitted data and flag spam automatically. Mollom sometimes presents a CAPTCHA, but only when it’s unsure. But why not develop your own system that is tuned to the mechanics of your website? Taking responsibility and removing the burden from users will improve their interactions with and impressions of your website. Manually moderating content is often a sacrifice worth making. . . . The perfect CAPTCHA is no CAPTCHA at all.
