Hi Christy, There's not a simple answer to that question. For one thing, no tool along can determine if a website meets accessibility standards. See "What evaluation tools can not do" in http://www.w3.org/WAI/eval/selectingtools.html We do not have the resources to be able to answer your question specifically. Here are some resources that can help understanding and evaluating web accessibility: * Overview of web accessibility http://www.w3.org/standards/webdesign/accessibility * Evaluating Websites for Accessibility http://www.w3.org/WAI/eval/Overview.html (although this is a bit old, much of it still applies) * Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Overview http://www.w3.org/WAI/intro/wcag Regards, ~Shawn ----- Shawn Lawton Henry W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) e-mail: shawn@w3.org phone: +1.617.395.7664 about: http://www.w3.org/People/Shawn/ On 12/20/2011 7:11 AM, Christy Heenan wrote: > > I made an error with my previous confirmation and am resending my request. > > Can you recommend an website audit tool to determine if sites are in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)? > > *christy heenan* | SOCIAL MEDIA PROGRAM MANAGER | A Couple of Chicks e-Marketing > > p 905.990.0079 x 108 | direct: 905-569-7524 | tf 888.235.6009 x 108 | f 866.541.5394 > > www.acoupleofchicks.com <http://www.acoupleofchicks.com/> | www.onlinerevealed.com <http://www.onlinerevealed.com/> | www.ideahatching.com <http://www.ideahatching.com/> | > > www.facebook.com/acoupleofchicksonlinemarketing <http://www.facebook.com/acoupleofchicksonlinemarketing> | www.twitter.com/acoupleofchicks <http://www.twitter.com/acoupleofchicks> >
