-------- Original Message -------- Subject: RE: Launching W3C/WAI list of Web accessibility evaluation tools Date: Mon, 13 Mar 2006 10:19:13 -0500 From: Sailesh Panchang <sailesh.panchang@deque.com> To: 'Shadi Abou-Zahra' <shadi@w3.org> Hello Shadi, A. On the page for submission, I noted: Languages: list is too long to be presented in checkboxes. Consider using select menu that allows multiple selections B. On the page that lists the tools: 1. Authoring tools: misspelt 2. Refer to the options under "Provides these repair options:" Consider re-wording " Changes the code of the Web pages"to : Provides modified code that can replace original code Else this should be provided as another option. The phrase "Changes the code of the Web pages" is scary and may turn off some users. For instance I might not want my original code to be modified automatically. Ramp incorporates the code changes in a local copy of the Web page and one can preview the modified code. Only then one may choose to replace the original Web page with the modified one. This will be more acceptable to many users.
