oh my gosh, it's beautiful! </me wipes tear from eye :>

- think *much* simpler visually!
- agree a little more spacing would be good, especially between the edge of the gray box & the text, and also between the groups on the right (above <h2>Overall Functionality).
- a little more space between the last item and the Search button would help it stand out, also having it not so close to list above it would make it look more like it belongs to the whole form, rather then the list above (usability principle: proximity)
- don't think any more fancying up is needed now, can be listed for possible later enhancement

- agree!!!
- probably make <h2>s black instead of orange here

- I think good to leave as is. It looks *so* much more simple now, that OK to have 3 option groups. And, as I said before, you're wording is *much* more understandable now.
- Don't think need to flag very much for EOWG discussion.

not sure what you're working on, so please excuse comments if already in progress.

Hum... another trade-off question here. It is *much* more difficult to process items in horizontal flow list, rather then vertical flow list. However, do like that it's overall shorter.

What about doing something more like the Simple Search page - where within a group the items are vertical, yet there are two columns?

If that would take too much time, I'd vote for going back to vertical flow. Without the fieldset boxes I think it will look less daunting anyway.

yes, a little would be nice.

Agree not needed if can get in only 2-3 "scrolls" in common configurations.

Hum. Still wonder about making more clear, even though less formal, e.g.
"Web Site Format" -> "Checks these Web formats:"
"Authoring Tool Integration" -> "Integrates with these authoring tools:"
"Support for Guidelines" -> "Checks for these guidelines:"

Don't feel strongly either way and happy to go with whatever you & Judy & EOWG decide.

If take to EOWG, would need draft of both approaches in order for EOWG to have decent discussion. :/

WOW! cool!
