In the Policies Relating to Web Accessibility Document there is a validation error. http://www.w3.org/WAI/Policy/Overview.html#US There is an anchor in the US section that goes to Section 255 for example and has an id of 255. <a name="255" id="255" shape="rect">(USA) Section 255 of the Telecommunicati It is not XHTML 1.0 Transitional to have an id attribute that starts with a number. It would be easy to take out the id and have it validate but I don't know if that would affect the use of the anchor. The anchor could be changed but that would affect any references to the anchor in any other documents.
