Hi Shawn, hi all, some ideas about Interdependent Components of Web Accessibility http://www.w3.org/WAI/intro/components In the Introduction there's "content" as the first component in the list. I think that maybe we can consider "content" as a result, or "the" result of making accessible web sites and not a component. In fact, web browser and assistive technology navigate the content, users' knowledge and experience help to make accessible content, and so on. So I think content, accessible content is not a component but the final component, the result and the object of all other activity. The wcag 2 draft: "Content must be perceivable - Interface elements in the content must be operable - Content and controls must be understandable - Content must be robust enough to work with current and future technologies." The content is at center of activity. So we could take content away from Introduction's list. Images are very futuristic ;-))) Maybe the words relating the tools (evaluation tools, authoring tools, etc.) are not really readable if written upon the image. I try also to print on laser printer in gray scale and is not very clear. Bye all Best regards Pasquale --------------------------------------------- Pasquale Popolizio IWA/HWG Member pasquale@osservatoriosullacomunicazione.com pasquale@popolizio.com www.osservatoriosullacomunicazione.com 393.9402244 ICQ 267656437 AIM pasqualepoldo ---------------------------------------------
