1.8.12 allow same user interface
there is some issues. greg with ff on http://rip747.github.io/popupwindow/
all open in a new tab with same interface. jim cannot make that happen in
his FF.
this seems to be a programming issue. there are application that no matter
what I do, the application will open a new window with no chrome.
js: this comes under recognize.
gl: there is a lot that scripts can do that the browser cannot control
... does the SC apply to scripts, etc. ... if so nobody does that. if just
html then they all do.
js: perhaps this goes in the browsers must follow WCAG list.
... need to check with browser folks
summary: all browsers do this. tho there are applications that open new
windows with no chrome that the browser cannot control

<Greg> "Developers will have until mid-2017 to switch to the new
programming model."
2.1.4 separate selection from activation
all browsers. except radio buttons - tab to the group...arrowing around
causes selection...as per w3 behavior http://www.w3.org/wiki/RadioButton
there are WCAG failures e.g. onChange events that the browser cannot
control. there are surely others
no way to unselect a radio button other than refresh page
2.4.5 search alternative content
for alt text - webdeveloper - firefox -
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/yourhere/fkandkgadbpobooanbmiiinlelnhbabm

if you turn off images in a browser to show alt text you cannot search for
it
media players - youtube allow caption search
2.5.2 structural nav heading and tables (now 2.5.1)
headingsMap - ff https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/headingsmap/
scrollbar of content - chrome
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/scrollbar-of-contents/cfmkncejaemmcobmaabfigljmnkeecdm

could find nothing about table navigation
could use chromevox with no speech for all of the element navigation and
table navigation
2.6.2 Allow Restore All to Default: The user can restore all preference
settings to default values. (Level A)
IE has reset to defaults
<Greg> Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings | Firefox Help
<Greg>
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings
<Greg> "The refresh feature works by creating a new profile folder for you
while saving your important data.
<Greg> Add-ons which are normally stored inside the Firefox profile folder,
such as extensions and themes, will be removed. Add-ons stored in other
locations, such as plugins, will not be removed but any modified
preferences (such as plugins you have disabled) will be reset."
Google Chrome has an option that will reset itself to its default settings.
To find this option, open Chrome's menu and select Settings. Perform a
search for “reset browser” and you'll see the Reset browser settings button.
ff has extension for retore to default without removing addons

are so inclined, manipulate all the data in each of the tables."

compatible user agent preference settings between devices. (Level AAA)
chrome - windows - %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\ huge folder -
