Assertion: When a search operation produces a match, the matched content is highlighted <http://w3c.github.io/UAAG/UAAG20/#def-highlight>, the viewport is scrolled if necessary so that the matched content is within its visible area, and the user can search from the location of the match. 1. load page (with rendered text, alternative text, generated text, foreign language characters), 2. search for a string of known text on the test page to have search success in rendered text. The found text will be Highlighted, the viewport will scroll to place the highlighted text is visibl within the viewport ( if pass go to next else fail), 3. search again for the same text in #2. The found text will be Highlighted, the viewport will scroll to place the highlighted text is visibl within the viewport ( if pass go to next else fail), Expected Results: 2,3 are true -- [image: http://www.tsbvi.edu] <http://www.tsbvi.edu>Jim Allan, Accessibility Coordinator & Webmaster Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired 1100 W. 45th St., Austin, Texas 78756 voice 512.206.9315 fax: 512.206.9264 http://www.tsbvi.edu/ "We shape our tools and thereafter our tools shape us."
