I took an action today to propose some changes to 2.11.2 Execution Placeholder and 2.11.3 Execution Toggle to make them more testable. I also said I would take into account any external comments on them but these are all spelling/grammar (http://www.w3.org/WAI/UA/2013/commentsWD.html). Proposed: --- - 2.11.2 Control of Embedded User Agents: If the user agent makes use of embedded user agents, then the following are both true (Level A): (a) Placeholder: The user can set embedded user agents to display as placeholders until explicit user request; and (b) Toggle: The user can turn embedded user agents on/off. - 2.11.3 Control of Executable Content: The user can turn on/off the execution of executable content (e.g. Javascript). (Level A) ALSO, I think "2.11.1 Time-Based Media Load-Only" should be moved behind these two to group it with the other time-based media SCs/ Original: --- - 2.11.2 Execution Placeholder: The user can request a placeholder instead of executable content that would normally be contained within an on-screen area (e.g. Applet, Flash), until explicit user request to execute. (Level A) - 2.11.3 Execution Toggle: The user can turn on/off the execution of dynamic or executable content (e.g. Javascript, canvas, media).
