Re: UAAG2.0 action 743 Look at cleaning up glossary terms "serial access, sequential navigation" and linear navigation commands

Although I tend to automatically use the older term, "sequential navigation", I think that "linear navigation" is better because it avoids the problem of the phrase "sequential navigation commands" being ambiguous as to whether it means (a) commands that perform sequential/linear navigation, or (b) a sequence of commands that perform navigation. That being said, either would be acceptable.

Do you think the use of directions in the definition of structural navigation might be confusing? Would it be clearer to say something like "structural navigation (sometimes calls hierarchical navigation) moves the focus to parent, child, and previous or next sibling elements" or "moves the focus based on a hierarchical structure (e.g. to parent or first child elements, or to previous or next sibling elements)"?
