Apologies to Mark, I found this in my inbox from the F2F in November. I am forwarding it to the list so we can reference it. jeanne -------- Original Message -------- Subject: ACTION 643 first pass Date: Thu, 3 Nov 2011 20:13:42 -0400 From: Markku Hakkinen <markku.hakkinen@gmail.com> To: Jeanne Spellman <jeanne@w3.org> I made some changes AND added a new SC. 2.11.7 Set Position in Time-Based Media: The user can set playback position along the timebase using a continuous scale, and by relative time units within rendered video, audio and animations that last three or more seconds at their default playback rate. (Level A) Intent: Users with sensory, cognitive or attentional impairments may find it difficult to understand or follow time-based media. This success criteria allows users to position within the timebase to review content or to skip content which may be distracting. 2.11.x Review Time-Based Media: The user can request that a predefined interval of recently played audio, video, or animation be repeated. (Level AA) Intent: Users with sensory, cognitive or attentional impairments may find it difficult to understand or follow time-based media, especially if distracted by environmental visual or auditory events. This success criteria allows users to review recently played content that may have been missed or not fully understood by providing a single action that resets the playback position by a predefined interval and resumes playback.
