Re: UAAG2 back button SC duplicate?

Hi Jan,

The reason there are two is that 1.8.5 doesn't actually say that user agents should provide a back button or the like, merely that if it *does* provide one, it should restore the user's context as well.  The group felt that this was a hole, and we should have something actually recommending a back button or the like, but that it should only be Level AA. Since 1.8.5 was Level A, that precluded combining the two into a single success criterion.

They could be combined but that would require changing the priority of one.

The thing that bothers me the most is that these two are so closely related yet somehow ended up in widely different portions of the document. They would certainly be much clearer if they were close together and used compatible language.
