I received these comments from a participant at a recent conference. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: Volunteer review of Video elements Date: Thu, 27 May 2010 10:20:04 -0400 Hi Jeanne, Just wanted to tell you I read through the UAAG Guidelines, section 4.9. On first read, it looks as though there will be a great deal of user- control that will increase User control/ability to digest video content. However, two things I was left wondering about: * Keyboard control of video. * Show/Hide captions that remain synchronized with audio/video. My guess is this is covered in another section of the Guidelines. Or, perhaps these functions are relegated to a player such as Flash. Yet, Section 4.9 has so much user-control in the browser...I'm wondering if this is looking to HTML5. My intent is to go back through and give the whole thing a good-read & get myself better informed.
