FYI. Some interesting things. One, they define ‘chrome’, which might serve as a replacement for ‘user agent user interface’. Second, one of the modes is ‘floating’ which would be ‘transparent’. View Mode is a spec from CSS. I think UAAG might need some SC for overriding the transparency of UI or rendering elements. Thoughts? Jim ----------------------------------------- From: Michael Cooper Sent: Tuesday, May 25, 2010 9:50 AM PFWG took a look at the View Mode media feature spec: http://www.w3.org/TR/2010/WD-view-mode-20100420/ Gregory did a preliminary review for us: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/wai-xtech/2010May/0003.html and we discussed 5 May 2010: http://www.w3.org/2010/05/05-pf-minutes.html#item08 We didn't identify specific accessibility issues, but did think the UAAG and ATAG groups might want to review that the set of view modes appears to be complete.
