4.4 Slow multimedia (P1) - this example techniques seems beside the point: + HTML 4 [HTML4], background animations may be specified with the deprecated background attribute. 4.5 Start, stop, pause, and navigate multimedia (P1) - Under doing more "represent otherwise position" should be "otherwise represent position" 4.6 Do not obscure captions (P1) - it would be better if the sufficient techniques here were clear that only identified captions are covered. 4.7 Global volume control (P1) - this example techniques seems beside the point: + Authors sometimes specify background sounds with the bgsound attribute. Note: This attribute is not part of HTML 4 [HTML4]. - maybe better to be more clear that CSS is being discussed here because a user-defined style sheet could make use of them to perform an override. + Implement the CSS 2 volume property ([CSS2], section 19.2). + Implement the display, play-during, and speak properties in CSS 2 ([CSS2], sections 9.2.5, 19.6, and 19.5, respectively). Cheers, Jan
