I am not sure if this is a stable enough URI, but this would be a useful techniques reference for APIs Charles -- Charles McCathieNevile http://www.w3.org/People/Charles phone: +61 409 134 136 W3C Web Accessibility Initiative http://www.w3.org/WAI fax: +1 617 258 5999 Location: 21 Mitchell street FOOTSCRAY Vic 3011, Australia (or W3C INRIA, Route des Lucioles, BP 93, 06902 Sophia Antipolis Cedex, France) ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Thu, 05 Apr 2001 15:54:58 -0700 From: Aaron Leventhal <aaronl@chorus.net> To: mozilla-accessibility@mozilla.org Subject: Accessibility API x-ref update w/ Gnome info Resent-Date: Thu, 5 Apr 2001 15:52:54 -0700 (PDT) Resent-From: mozilla-accessibility@mozilla.org This table shows the roles and states Gnome will probably be using, and compares them with those used in MSAA and Java accessibility. http://www.accessmozilla.org/article.php?sid=11 This may not be the final roles and states they use, because there seem to be some mistakes. For example, Gnome accessibility contains both ATK_ROLE_ROW_HEADER and ATK_ROLE_TABLE_ROW_HEADER - oops! Same with ATK_ROLE_COLUMN_HEADER and ATK_ROLE_TABLE_COLUMN_HEADER. Hope this is helpful, Aaron
