Sorry, to be more explicit in answering your question, “… text extraction files” is a little misleading. These are not actual “files” the author of the pdf writes and embeds or links to within the pdf itself. It’s the assistive technology’s manner of stating it cannot extract readable text content from the document (again due to missing text content).
