RE: WCAG2.2 vs. 3.0 and color contrast

https://github.com/w3c/wcag3/issues/10 .... Just one such issue on the topic. Do a search on color contrast in the WCAG repo and you'll find plenty.

Subject: WCAG2.2 vs. 3.0 and color contrast

Dear folks,

I have a question which is not very urgent but came up in a discussion yesterday.

When looking at WCAG2.2 and 3.0 (in its current version) - given the fact that 2.2 will not be discarded when 3.0 is published - what about contrast? There are differences in the two versions as of now and when looking at the 3.0 values they make more sense for sighted users than the ones given in 2.2.

Maybe someone can enlighten me if there has already been a discussion about this topic.

Thanks and solong
