Thank you for your suggestion. I have installed MathPlayer and the Access8Math plugin, but I haven't used MathCAT yet. I'll go ahead and install it and check it out.

I have inserted an equation in HTML using MathML and included alt text for it, but the equation is not being read by the NVDA screen reader in both Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers, even with MathPlayer installed. Please suggest the best solution. The MathML code is provided below for reference.
