Headings for web "apps"

Hi,

I have an "app"; a set of pages, all related. I feel I want to code it so each page has the same H2 in HEADER with the name for the app, and a unique H1 in MAIN for the name of that page of the app.

This pattern I think follows this WCAG example (unfortunately they don't provide a code example for the graphic):

https://www.w3.org/WAI/tutorials/page-structure/headings/#main-heading-after-navigation#main-heading-after-navigation

Researching, Google is coming back with trillions of hits on SEO, but I am focused on using the best markup pattern when considering accessibility and semantics; SEO is not my focus.

Does this pattern strike anyone as being particularly good or bad, for my circumstances, and if bad, have you other suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Regards,

Alan
