So just a quick follow up to this. Would this be the same failure when using the abbr tag then? The title attriubte is also used for this. Another issue with the title attribute...as it is not exposed to Keyboard users/mobile users is that then also a failure under 2.1.1? The title attribute is exempt from 1.4.13, though. I do tend to tell people to stay away for the Title attribute where possible. I am wondering if the WCAG2.1 SC 1.4.4 Resize Text is applicable when the Title attribute is used to convey secondary information?
