Hi Tom, When it comes to WCAG we talk about *content*. If it's not resizable it's a fail, because for quite a lot of the *content* of the title attribute is not accessible. Not only because it is not resizable (like browser generated error messages for forms) - but the title text cannot revealed when using a touchscreen and even mouse users may not find it, because they have to move the mouse over the element and than leave it there. Quite challenging for people with a tremor. Also when using a screen magnifier you might need to move the mouse to see some parts of the text what will make the text disappear (which makes it fail 1.4.13: Content on Hover or Focus) - the title attribute is one of the few things to avoid when it comes to native HTML. Not because it is not useful, but the implementation of the browser vendors really sucks. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen Marc Haunschild - he / him - #gernPerDu Prüfstelle im BIK-BITV-Prüfverbund Marc Haunschild Accessibility Consulting Sonnenhof 32 53119 Bonn Telefon: 0170 8 64 00 63 Web: https://Accessibility.Consulting https://mhis.de Email: Marc.Haunschild@Accessibility.Consulting > Am 11.10.2022 um 10:55 schrieb Tom Shaw <tom-shaw@hotmail.com>: > > Hi all. > > I am wondering if the WCAG2.1 SC 1.4.4 Resize Text is applicable when the Title attribute is used to convey secondary information?
