Hi All, I am particularly interested in hearing opinions from daily screen reader users... We already know that there is no specific guidance in WCAG about this, but I am curious to know: we frequently see web pages where the
value and the first
are the same text strings (i.e.
About Us
followed by
About Us
). As a daily screen reader what is your opinion of this authoring pattern: * It's a common pattern and what I expected: I am glad to hear it. * It's a common pattern that is redundantly redundant, but... meh. * It's a common pattern that is extremely difficult for me, but I live with it. * It's a common pattern that impedes my ability to interact with the page fully and should be avoided at all times. * Other thoughts? Thanks in advance.
