Hi Lars, My apologies if this is too obvious, but the first thing I would do, if you are spotting issues such as this, is remove all styling and turn off all JavaScript (just for completeness) with something like developer tools or an extension such as Web Developer (chrispederick.com) and then check you are seeing identical issues. I suggest this only because such fundamental issues as robust typography and contrast *should* be correct in a user-agent, and cases where these things are wrong are usually few. This quick test will at least rule in or out if the "environment" is partly or fully to blame. I hope that is of some help and wasn't too obvious. Examples include contrast issues and text spacing issues in standard combo boxes when presented in Chrome and contrast issues with the standard focus indicator in Edge. Although technical fixes can likely be implemented to address these issues, a better solution would be if browsers offered out-of-the-box compliance when rendering standard components. I would be interested in your opinion on this topic.
