Note this recent clarification for sensory characteristics - the SC deals with *instructions*, not the actual use of images etc themselves. https://github.com/w3c/wcag/pull/767 If the only thing changing between a "full" and "empty" star is a change of colour, then you may want to evaluate it in light of the SC for use of color, but again note the recent clarification that a sufficient change in color contrast counts as more than just use of color. https://github.com/w3c/wcag/pull/1500 P -- Patrick H.
