Indeed, it is very difficult to define degree or amount of motion on the web given the variety of screen sizes, devices, and methods of creating motion. That is partly why it is at the AAA level, if we can find / do research on the impact of various options, and how to define size/amount then we could produce an A/AA criteria. We know there can be a huge impact, and I can point to obvious examples that are terrible and others that are ok, but there’s a big grey area in the middle that no-one can define definitively, yet. If anyone knows of such research, or is interested in conducting some I’d love to know about it! Cheers, -Alastair
