Dear WAI Interest Group Participants, The Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (AG WG) has published an updated Working Draft of Accessibility Conformance Testing (ACT) Rules Format 1.0: https://www.w3.org/TR/act-rules-format/ *Overview* This updated working draft of Accessibility Conformance Testing (ACT) Rules Format 1.0 addresses all comments received on the previous draft, and is accompanied by sample ACT Rules that implement this rules format: https://w3c.github.io/wcag-act-rules/ *Background* The Accessibility Conformance Testing (ACT) Rules Format 1.0 specifies a common format for accessibility test rules, and how to write test procedures for quality assurance. It facilitates harmonization of accessibility testing approaches, and helps organizations to better document and share their testing methods. It primarily addresses developers of automated and semi-automated evaluation tools, but also supports manual evaluation procedures. More background is available on the Accessibility Conformance Testing (ACT) blog post: https://www.w3.org/blog/2017/04/wcag-accessibility-conformance-testing-act/ *Comments* To comment, the Working Group requests input be filed as GitHub issues at: https://github.com/w3c/wcag-act/issues/ Please create new issues for your comments, putting each separate topic into a separate issue. If it is not feasible to file issues in this tool, you can also submit comments by email to: public-wcag-act-comments@w3.org The Working Group requests comments on this draft be filed by 10 October 2017. The Working Group plans to publish updated Working Drafts frequently over the coming months to incorporate input received and continued review of proposals. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you in advance for your comments.
