The Accessibility Guidelines Working Group has published an updated Working Draft of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1: https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/ This draft includes two new success criteria, one clarification to conformance criteria, and some new terms that have been formally accepted by the Working Group. It also includes several new or edited success criteria that were published in June. There are now 11 new Success Criteria in WCAG 2.1, which have come from the AGWG Task Forces focusing on mobile, cognitive, and low vision user requirements. Changes are listed at https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/#changelog The Working Group continues to review proposed Success Criteria that were previously submitted to the Working Group, and public comments on these. After this publication, we plan one more Working Draft before the Working Group stops adding new requirements to WCAG 2.1. After that, the Working Group will work to optimize the structure of the WCAG 2.1 requirements and finalize WCAG 2.1. In addition, the Working Group is exploring ways to provide supplemental guidance in a separate non-normative publication to complement provisions being added directly as Success Criteria in WCAG 2.1. **Please submit any comments related to potential new success criteria as soon as possible*, before 15 August 2017.*Comments about success criteria already added will still be processed throughout 2017. For more information on the status of WCAG 2.1 development, see: https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wiki/WCAG_2.1_Status To comment, the Working Group requests input be filed as new issues at: https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/issues/ or by email to: public-agwg-comments@w3.org <mailto:public-agwg-comments@w3.org> The Working Group requests comments on this draft be filed by 25 August 2017.
