Re: W3C membership and Director have approved the re-charter of the WCAG Working Group

well I guess the equiv of WCAG - is now AG

the equiv of WCAG Working Group — is AG Working Group

we never tried to shorten Working group. (e.g. there was never WCAGWG or WCAGG)

I guess the if we ever used WCAG WG it would now be AG WG but we never pronounced more than WCAG so we only need to figure out how to pronounce AG. Which is AG

but perhaps the full name isnt long enough now (and AG sounds like agriculture) so I suspect people will just say the name Accessibility Guidelines

Unless that is too vague so they say W3C Accessibility guidelines which is wha WAG? W3 AG? or…. no….. W3C AG (how is that for irony)

At any rate it looks like

WCAG —> AG
WCAG WG —> AG WG which would be pronounced WCAG Working group —> AG Working Group

Mooooo ?

Maybe petition for a rename to Web Accessibility Working group - and then we are all WAGs
