Digital Accessibility: free introductory course (five weeks)

Hi,

The introductory course "Digital Accessibility: Enabling Participation
in the Information Society" on FutureLearn
<https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/digital-accessibility> is scheduled
to run again starting 6 February 2017. This is a five-week course based
on content developed by the EU-funded MOOC Accessibility Partnership
(MOOCAP <http://gpii.eu/moocap/>). It covers the basics of
accessibility, web accessibility, mobile accessibility, document
accessibility and design for all. The course content is available under
a Creative Commons licence.

The first run of the course had over 2,900 registered learners with very
diverse backgrounds. Some were new to accessibility, but many had been
active in this field for some time, so there was also a lot of
information sharing in the forums.

MOOCAP also plans to create a number of further courses; the list is
available at <http://gpii.eu/moocap/?page_id=655>.

Best regards,

Christophe
