RE: About WCAG 2.0

Hi Daeho,

The Ontario government AODA response is unacceptable! As you have probably read in recent news reports, the Ontario government has been accused of being very lacking in their AODA enforcement. In fact the AODA reviewer report just published has some strong recommendations. I am an appointee on the Ontario government Accessibility Standards Advisory Council (ASAC), and would like to know who you spoke to in the Ontario government. As an Accessibility IT Specialist and a user of assistive technologies, I would be happy to help you out. I live a short distance from you in St. Catharines. Hello.

 

My name is Daeho, I’m a Web Developer/Graphic Designer at a marketing company located near Burlignton, Ontario.

Nice to meet you.

I have talked to the Government of Ontario (AODA) few times about WCAG details but everyime when I ask they said they did not really have a specialist to answer/clarify our questions & challenges.

And then they have suggested us to contact you guys (W3C). 

 

We would be much apprecaited if you could let us know whom we can speak to about detailed WCAG guideline.

And is there a person who can confirm whether we have met the WCAG requirement for AA? When we run our website at AChecker site, all of our known errors are now fixed but some still shows up as errors no matter what because the system understands the code incorrectly.
