WAI staff and EOWG at AccessU in Austin, TX May 11-14

Dear WAI IG,

We are excitedly preparing for web accessibility education and outreach in Austin, TX May 11-14. WAI staff Shawn Henry, Shadi Abou-Zahra, Eric Eggert, Kevin White, and Jeanne Spellman will be at AccessU in a couple of weeks.

We have a series of classes that start with the basics of web accessibility, provide a case study on responsive design, address evaluation, and more. See below for the classes. General information about AccessU is available from: <http://www.knowbility.org/v/john-slatin-accessu/>

The WAI Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG) will also be seeking your input on prototypes of new resources and tools. More information about New WAI Tools Feedback and the EOWG Meeting is below.

You can help improve new tools and resources for web developers, designers, evaluators, and managers. We'll have a room setup for you to try out prototypes and give us feedback. WAI staff and Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG) participants would love your input! Sign-up for a timeslot will be available near the AccessU registration.

*W3C WAI Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG) Meeting*

EOWG is meeting on Wednesday 13 May and Thursday 14 May around AccessU. We welcome a limited number of visitors to this EOWG face-to-face. If you would be interested in participating in the meeting and you are not a current EOWG participant, please e-mail EOWG Chairs Sharron and Shawn.
