Accessible college websites

Dear WAI IG community,

I work in the Student Support Services office at New York City College of Technology, CUNY, Brooklyn. We are looking into the possibility of developing, in collaboration with students here, an accessible website that can feature articles and artwork by students as well as news around the City Tech community, and links to other educational and artistic organizations with accessible sites. Does anyone know of or work on models similar to this? College or university websites with student writing, news, art, and/or essays that demonstrate effective content accessibility?
