Usable Web Accessibility - Call for Proposals 1 February - ICCHP

Dear WAI Interest Group,

We invite you to participate in "Usable Web Accessibility", a International Conference on Computers Helping People with Special Needs (ICCHP) Special Thematic Session (STS) to be held July 2010 in Vienna, Austria.

Presentation proposals are due Monday 1 February 2010.

We are particularly looking for contributions and discussion on experiences, approaches, and methods for implementing accessible and usable websites, as well as web authoring tools, browsers, media players, and other web products. Invited topics include (but are not limited to):
* Including accessibility considerations throughout web projects
* Involving users early in web projects and the resulting benefits
* Conformance evaluation and assessment methods for web accessibility
* Usability testing and usability studies with people with disabilities
* Inclusive user-centered design and other usability approaches
* Tool-supported web development and accessibility evaluation
* Techniques and approaches for meeting accessibility requirements
* Case studies of how including people with disabilities early in web projects increased the effectiveness and efficiency of the development work
* Studies showing how users with disabilities as participants in usability studies found general usability issues as well
