Hi Ryan, At 15:57 2/10/2008, Ryan Jean wrote: >Can someone give me a list of sites with the WCAG compliant logo? There is no certification body that checks the use of WCAG conformance (not "compliance") logos. The WCAG conformance levels that web site owners claim for themselves are often overstated. Sites that conform to WCAG 1.0 don't necessarily use a conformance logo. If you're looking for individual sites that conform (more or less) to WCAG 1.0, it is more useful to look for certificates and awards given by third parties instead of through self assessment. Some organizations that perform accessibility evaluations have lists of web sites that conform to their guidelines (which are usually based on WCAG 1.0), for example: * Stichting Bartimeus Accessibility (Netherlands): <http://www.accessibility.nl/toetsing/deelnemers/sites>, * drempelvrij.nl: <http://www.drempelvrij.nl/register> * AnySurfer (Belgium): <http://www.anysurfer.be/nl/service/labeldragers/> (in Dutch) / <http://www.anysurfer.be/fr/service/labeldragers/> (in French - mostly) * AccessiWeb (France): <http://www.accessiweb.org/fr/Label_Accessibilite/galerie_sites_web_accessibles/> * BIENE award winners (Germany): <http://www.biene-award.de/award/preistraeger/> See also the awards by Accessites.org: see the "showcase" category at <http://accessites.org/site/category/showcase/>. (Their criteria are at <http://accessites.org/site/criteria/>.) However, it is important to bear in mind that these certificates and awards can go out of date as sites evolve or get redesigned.
