If you wanted to add support for the openwave simulator in the toolbar the following command line will open a URL. C:\Program Files\Openwave\V7 Simulator\bin>phone.exe -go http://www.google.com Tighe ----- Forwarded by Tighe K. Lory/PWSA/PAG/DOH on 06/15/2007 05:05 PM ----- "Tighe K. PM Hi Jesper, Opera has a small screen mode, while is helpful it does not truly represent what browsing on a mobile device is like. There are some excellent emulators/simulators which are very good for testing: Openwave Phone Simulator (probably the most common WAP browser) http://developer.openwave.com/dvl/tools_and_sdk/phone_simulator/ Windows Mobile Smart Phone Microsoft had a SmartPhone Emulator, but I cannot seem to find it anymore (It is included with the SDK, but requires you have Visual Studio installed.) There are also several other emulators/simulators (Palm, etc) which are useful when checking a site to see if it is useable on a mobile device. Anyone know if Apple has plans to release a simulator for the iPhone? I assume that their release of Safari for Windows is part of a plan to do so, but is doesn't emulate the interface or resolution of the phone. Especially if we agree, that most web page ought to work well also in mobile devices.
