Updates: WCAG 2.0 and WAI Resources Handouts

Dear WAI Interest Group Participants,

WAI recently developed handouts for the CSUN[1] and SXSW[2] conferences that cover WCAG 2.0 current status, primary points, getting started with WCAG 2.0 documents, and Web accessibility resources from W3C WAI. The handouts also direct readers to key documents such as:
* WCAG 2 FAQ, which includes a *March 2007 Update* at
	<http://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG20/wcag2faq#update200703>
* How WAI Develops Accessibility Guidelines through the W3C Process, which explains document stages and milestones, at
	<http://www.w3.org/WAI/intro/w3c-process>

These handouts are now available for anyone to print and distribute. You can get them in different formats from:
	<http://www.w3.org/WAI/flyer/>

We encourage you to distribute these documents widely. For example, they will be included in materials for these conferences:
* CHI 2007 Computer/Human Interaction Conference on 28 April-3 May in San Jose, California, USA[3]
* UPA 2007 Usability Professionals' Association Conference on 11-15 June in Austin, Texas, USA[4]

We plan to update and improve these handouts in the future. If you have suggestions or comments, please send them to wai-eo-editors@w3.org (a publicly archived list).

Thanks for your help spreading the word about Web accessibility!

Regards,

~Shawn
