The programme has been finalised for the Accessible Design in the Digital World Conference, taking place at the Apex Hotel in Dundee, Scotland, from 23-25 August. Highlights include: - keynote talks from Prof Helen Petrie (City University, London), Dr Vicki Hanson (IBM TJ Watson Research Center, Prof Chris van der Kuyl (Tayforth Consulting) and Prof Alan Newell (University of Dundee) - 19 presentations from figures from academia and industry - a panel session: "Legislation? Standards? How do we tell people to design technology that supports inclusion?" - panellists from the Disability Rights Commission, Guild of Accessible Web Designers (GAWDS), IBM, Yahoo! Inc. and law firm Brodies LLP. - 5 pre-conference workshops and a seminar held by the Scottish Usability Professionals Association.
